Crimping is an essential part of wig styling
It can help with:
- Preventing tangles
- Getting a softer feel
- Adding fluffiness & appearing fuller
- Getting rid of shinies
- Making it easier to style & hold it’s shapeThis step is automatically added to the wig styling process, but may be omitted at the client’s request.

Curling is an optional add-on that a buyer may request if they want curls or waves added to their wig.There are three types of curls I can offer, showcased on the left.When a curled wig is shipped out, it will be tied up with ribbon so they won’t fall out.

|| Additional Services

Thin or Full: FREE
I offer the option of doing a “thin” or “full” look to your wig! This add-on is a mandatory choice between the two options. It just means that I can either leave it as it is, in all it’s crimped glory (full) - or run my thinning shears through it to help reduce bulk and heft (thin).

Glitter: + £3
I can also add glitter to the wig to make it sparkle and shine! For the time being, I use craft glitter to shiny up a wig rather than spray-on. While this does offer more colour options, it also means that there is a higher chance of fall-out to occur.

Glued Hairline: + £10
A glued hairline may look better on certain wigs. This step is a highly recommended addition depending on the character you want to cosplay!

Silicone Spray: + £7
Silicone helps the wig fibres to slide alongside each other. While this doesn’t 100% prevent tangling, it instead helps more in the brushing out process and makes getting rid of knots much easier and faster. It also smells nice!

20pc Charms: + £4 35pc Charms: + £6 1 Special Charm: + £1 2 Special Charms: + £2
I offer adding big or small nail charms to the wig. I will always send a layout photo for review, before proceeding with glueing them down to the wig.

The Blade Commissions - Operation

|| The Process

Filling out the forms
Before I begin with anything, you must read the Terms of Service sheet provided and agree to it, otherwise the commission cannot begin. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Afterwards, you will be sent a form to complete asking what services you want done to the wig. When finished you will send me a message letting me know and I will review everything, calculate the cost, and send you an invoice that you may check over. If the invoice looks good and the price sounds within your budget (see end of topic for payment processing), you will pay a 20% non-refundable deposit of the total price (the payment amount will be written in your invoice) either via PayPal Goods & Services, or through Bank Transfer - the choice is yours. You may also choose to cover the deposit via Vinted, where you can receive a few stickers. You may then follow the next piece of instructions and measure your head according to the chart provided and send any required measurements (in CM) to me.

If you send a wig you already own, this is how to ship it: - Use a box that's just slightly too big for the wig OR - Use a big box, and tape a foam head to the bottom - Braid the wig in a loose braid if it’s a long wig - (Optional Step) Wrap the wig in it's protective net - Place the wig carefully in the box - Make a listing on Vinted for £1 - Share & send me the link ! This will add £6 onto the final payment

The Wig Styling
When the wig arrives to me and I have a free headstand, I will place it on the wig head and send 360° photos of it unstyled for you to review and make sure the wig looks good - if bought from throne; or undamaged due to shipping - if sent with Vinted. Afterwards, I will begin crimping and send follow-up images as I work through the wig. One photo will be 1/3rd of the way, another halfway, and the last when I’m finished. Finally, I will begin the styling process and will send progress photos as I finish each section The back - if curled - will consist of 2 to 3 photos, depending on if the top half is short (see the back of DanHeng in “Examples” for reference) The side burns will consist of 2 photos - one for each side The bangs will consist of 6 photos total as I work in layers when styling. At the end, I will also provide a Care-Guide to help you maintain your wig.
